Hi I'm Harmonie

I am a mother of 4. I live in Florida. I homeschool my children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 children under 8 and they are awesome, energetic individuals. I graduated from college with a degree in Elementary Education that I am currently putting to good use homeschooling my children. This is my greatest joy and my greatest stress at this point in my life. I love to do craft projects, but not any one in particular. I'm grateful that I learned to knit from my grandmother. My family is living in Florida while my husband attends school, and we love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the church that Jesus Christ established on the earth, and it has been restored in our day. A couple years ago I taught a group of young women a lesson on the Atonement of Christ. As I shared the message I had prepared, the spirit touched my heart and I KNEW what I was saying was true. I have been raised in the church and I have had this experience again and again as I've grown to know my Savior. Church is a place for me to learn about my Savior and feel his love. Not just from the Spirit that is felt, but through the music, and the people that are there for me.

How I live my faith

Right now I am lucky to be working with the children in our church. The lesson manuals and music are just at their level. The message may be basic, but the Spirit is strong. I also get to help my husband with the Cub Scouts twice a month.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

We are all to be baptized just as Jesus Christ was baptized. He set the example and was baptized by immersion. (Mark 16:16) What a blessing to have our sins washed away! By being baptized we become members of the Church of Jesus Christ and make a special promise, a covenant, with God. We promise to accept Christ into our lives and keep his commandments. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, and want to bless us. He promises to forgive our sins and have us return to live with him if we keep our covenants. Show more Show less
