Hi I'm Mazie Lu

I am currently a full-time missionary for the church. I love smoothies, ballet, & sunshine. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of six children. I love my family. I love musical theater. I also love to read, do ballet, and go on hikes. I attend college at Brigham Young University and want to become an elementary school teacher. I am taking eighteen months off of school to serve a full-time mission in Ventura, California. I love being a representative of Jesus Christ and sharing His gospel with everyone I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I have been raised in a Latter Day Saint home where I have learned about the gospel my whole life. But I have had to come to know for myself that it is true. I have gained my own personal testimony through daily reading the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father. Through personal experiences and witnesses of the Holy Ghost I have learned of the power of the Atonement and Christ's love and sacrifice for me. I am grateful to the gospel for the happiness and meaning it brings to my life. I know that I am blessed when I keep the Lord's commandments and make the right choices. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love attending church every Sunday to worship with a whole congregation as well as participating in church activities. But I truly live my faith when I am focused on my relationship with my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. When I try to live my life according to their commandments, I feel the Spirit. As I read and study the scriptures and pray to my Father in Heaven each day, I continue to strengthen my testimony. The small and simple things that I do each day are how I live my religion. I try to be the kind of person that God wants me to be. This is how I live my faith.
