Hi I'm Madisen

I am a missionary taking a break from college, I love to try new things and meet new people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ so much. And I love living what I know, and serving others. I am a university student studying Family and Consumer Science Education, which I will use to become a teacher. I love to learn and I love to teach. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy learning about the family and strengthening it. I love to try new things, and meet new people, and share with them the happiness that I have. I enjoy the outdoors, playing sports, watching movies, playing games, and expanding my interests and talents. I recently picked up guitar, slacklining, and sai sword twirling. I am taking a break from school to serve an LDS mission in San Bernardino California which I am very excited for. I already love the people of the San Bernardino mission so much!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe in this gospel because I have felt of the goodness of the gospel and the love that our Savior has for us. There is no denying that. I have seen and felt the tender mercies of His atoning sacrifice intended for all of his children to be able to be happy and return back to Him someday. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of his plan and that families can be forever. His gospel is good, it is great. I will continue to follow His gospel and endure till the end. Because the church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith starting with the little things. I try to show others the love I have for them, by serving them, because I know how much our Savior loves them. I love working with the youth, so I am a counselor for the EFY (Especially For Youth) program done through the Church. I volunteer every chance I get to be with the youth and share what I know. The college I attend has plenty of opportunities to serve, which is one of my favorite parts. We are all children of our Heavenly Father, and we all deserve to be treated like it and helped along the way back to him.

What is faith?

Faith is to "hope for things which are not seen, which are true". Alma 32:21 Faith, like anything, requires action. Even just the tiniest particle of faith can grow into something great, through action; including obedience, studying, and having a desire. Show more Show less
