Hi I'm Anderson Francisco

Hi. I grew up in the wonderful Brazil, Sao Paulo. I love to be a Mormon!

About Me

I love Music. i love to make up songs and poems. i love to sing (i don't have the prettiest voice) i play guitar, piano and some few other instruments. i speak Portuguese, English and Spanish. i love to draw as well. Right now i am on my mission ( California, Los Angeles Mission ). My least favorite food is Chinese food, peanut butter and corn! The first time that i ever saw the ocean in my life was here in USA. I finish mu mission in Aug 2013 and i'll go back to Brasil to build up my Family with a daughter of God. I love to read the book of Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

The knowledge of the Plan of Salvation is what catches my attention

How I live my faith

I'm serving a full-time mission which gives me the opportunity to share every day how the gospel blesses families! I had the opportunity to be a seminary teacher for one year right before my mission. We used to sing hymns of the church in a quartet group specially to families that were going through hard time in their lives, i found music very effective to those who are looking for peace and relief. Back home my friends and me often got together for something fun and also to help each other, through prayers, scripture reading, talking about marriage, Eternal family and trying to find answers to questions that we had among us. I start living my faith every single day when i wake up and get on my knees. I recognize that i'm completely helpless without my prayers and the words of God, specially the Book of Mormon. These are the two simple major things that helps me to live and keep my faith =)

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Anderson Francisco
Think about this, you are in your room, and you ask God if these things are true with a willing and sincere heart with real intent than this overwhelming feeling start growing in your heart with no man telling you what to do or who to follow..is just a direct feeling from heaven. Regardless of the amazing pleasing doctrine that the church teaches, the Mormon church encourage anyone to ask strait to God whether or not it is true. The world is a chaos and obviously people will follow what brings them peace. This is in my personal opinion the "why" of the growing of the church. It is not because the Mormons send many missionaries throughout the world but because many people are getting in their knees and asking God with the desire to follow their answer. Members know that Jesus Christ is ahead of this church, we know the Plan of Salvation is true and this life is not the end. We love to help anyone, anyone, anyone! There is not a way to NOT join in this church if you consider all the great things that it has to offer! Show more Show less
