Hi I'm Courtney

I'm a color loving funky flower using florist. I'm a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mid-western girl who loves all things art. I met and married my sweetheart in college, where I studied Art History. We moved to the desert and are loving newly wed life while trying to adjust to the arid climate. Currently I'm a florist and hope to one day own my own home studio. In my spare time I enjoy trying new food joints, playing with our goldendoodle, snorkeling, and exploring the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have tested out and prayed about the Church's teachings and I can not deny my testimony. This is the only Church that truly makes sense to me and puts the puzzle of religion together with all the pieces and correct truths. I know that the commandments and standards are to help us become the best people that we can be in this life. God has answered all of my prayers and has led me through the highs and lows of my life. This Gospel has helped me overcome every trial Satan has put in my path and has helped give me hope and peace for the future. I have seen miracles happen. I know families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is the essence of who I am and everything I do. I look towards Jesus Christ as my example by following his teachings and trying to be more like him everyday by living with love, integrity and honesty. Currently, my husband and I teach the the 8-9 year olds in Primary. This calling gives me great joy and I am amazed by how such small children can have such strong testimonies. I also am actively involved with giving service whether it be through different activities our ward or community has set up, helping a neighbor, or a stranger in a bind. The smallest bit of loving service can make a huge impact, and there is no better feeling than knowing you've helped make someone else's load a bit lighter and a bit brighter.
