Hi I'm Elaina Farmer

I grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon and I go to the University of Oregon. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently enrolled in Lane Community College and the University of Oregon as a Music and History major. I have three older brothers and I am the youngest and only girl. I love going to church activities along with attending my church services every Sunday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that there is nothing else in the world that is greater than my God. He leads me in ways that I cannot even fathom, he helps me when I truly need him, he brought my family closer together. I have had my doubts about this church, I will admit to that, but everything that I do in the church made me realize that this IS the true church and I am where I need to be. He has helped me in so many different things. Be it school, friends, family or health issues, I know he is the reason of why I am who I am today. There is no longer any doubt in my mind that He died for me, and everyone else in the world, on the cross for our sins so that we can live with him again. this church is so true, and I am glad to be a part of it. I am so thankful to be able to share this gospel with everyone.

How I live my faith

I haven't been in any calling, but I have had many opportunities to teach the gospel. The younger girls in my town look up to me and come to me for guidance when needed. I love to help other friends, members and non-members alike, with any problems or concerns they have. I have helped organize youth activities before and find it fun to watch others as they grow in the gospel. I have been to 2 EFY (Especially for Youth) activities and 7 years of a church Young Women's camp as both a Leader and Youth. These have both helped me gain a stronger testimony of Christ.
