Hi I'm Rochelle

I love to laugh, smile, run, and enjoy God's beautiful creations, as well as help and learn from those around me.

About Me

Hello there! I am Rochelle, I am a student at BYU-Idaho, and have recently been called to serve a mission in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission. I am so excited to spread our Heavenly Father's word and teach other's about Jesus Christ. I have two loving parents, five beautiful sisters, and one rambunctious little brother. I love making people smile and enjoying nature!

Why I am a Mormon

The feelings of peace, love, forgiveness, and joy that come from striving to follow my Savior are so profound, calming, and pure that I know that this is the true church on the earth today. No matter what I am going through, I know I can turn to my Savior, and being a Mormon not only helps me realize that for myself, but motivates me to be an example to those around me who don't yet have that truth in their lives. I want to make covenants with Heavenly Father, and I want to have the power of His priesthood influence my life. This is the Lord's church, and I want to strive to be like Him.

How I live my faith

I was born into an active LDS family and have always been taught the things I should know and do. However, as I have grown up and gone through different trials I had to decide for myself if I wanted to do what was right or not. Through prayer, fasting, reading and studying the scriptures, and by striving to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit I have come to know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. With continued prayer and guidance I can feel that faith in Christ grow, and I can strive each and every day to become more like Him. Not only that, but when I feel I have failed, I know I can turn to my Savior's Atonement and ask for forgiveness, and repent, and try all over again to be better. Life is about doing the little things each day that build faith and strength in Heavenly Father's plan for us, and trusting that His way is the right way even if we don't fully understand.
