Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've graduated from Front Range Community College with an AA of Business. And I'm continuing in BYU - Idaho through an online program called Pathway. I work at Dollar Tree and currently writing my stories. I love to hike and bike, and be outdoors all around. Video games are a fun pass time. And I love hanging out with my family and friends. I want to be a writer when I grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

The first time I went to the Lord's temple, doing baptisms for others already past on, I felt at peace. I felt I was doing right by giving the persons being baptized the chance to be saved and live with Heavenly Father. Sitting in that chapel staring down at the baptismal font, I felt so loved and right. I knew I was feeling the Spirit. I have lived through my parents for a long time, but I have experienced trials in my life recently that through prayer and faith in my Lord Jesus Christ, I have pulled through feeling stronger and feeling blessed. I have studied the gospel for my entire life and have learned of other ways to live life, but this gospel is the only way to life life that makes sense. I know in my heart that Christ wants me to return to me through the Atonement and choosing righteously.

How I live my faith

I try to do my visiting teaching. I try to be an example by being there for others if need be. I have no calling at the moment, but I live by the teachings and the principles of the gospel through my actions and speech.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Samantha
I believe that Christ willingly sacrificed himself so that we all could be saved and not have to suffer for our own sins. Through our actions and choices, we can return to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through the Atonement. Christ made that possible for us. He is the foundation of our gospel. Because He suffered for all our pains and sufferings and sins combined, He loved us so much to do that. And I'm so grateful for that. And we do believe that He is the Son of God, a separate being.
