Hi I'm Kim

I was born and raised on a farm, I love my family, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up on dairy farm with 10 other siblings. I learned how to work from my Dad. I love to go swimming and be outside. I love flowers and someday I'm going to have a huge garden with a pond, water fountain, and a bridge. I love to be up in the mountains and go on hikes. Family is everything to me. I have 4 sisters and we couldn't be closer. My favortie thing to do is to talk to my sisters and laugh until we cry. We laugh about how my sister got a ticket and wrote a note to my mom about how the world was over and what a horrible daughter she was. My mom always whips that note out like it's been stored in a special place. Or, about the time when I was a teenager and made my mom a stocking with fleece, hot glue, and pom poms. She is also good at bringing that one out too. Just when life couldn't get any better, I met my prince charming. We have been married for one year. We have our ups and downs but I wouldn't have it any other way. I know that I'm going to be with him forever, and nothing makes me happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I know that it is true. I know that I we can be with our families forever. My sister passed away when she was 7 years old. I know that because God loves us, he has provided a way for us to be together forever. Sometimes it's easy to think that life isn't fair, and sometimes it isn't. We are going to have trials and hard things that happen. The most important thing is how we choose to deal with them. They can make us a better person, or destroy us. I know that my Savior loves me. He knows me and he knows each and every one of us. We are never alone. He knows are weaknesses and he knows our strengths. I am so much happier when I let him into my life. The light that Christ has is for all of us. It's not met for one person, it's meant to be shared. The gospel of Jesus Christ is everything to me. It is what has helped me to become what I am and will help me to become who God wants me to be. For me, it isn't just a religion, it is my life and who I am.

How I live my faith

I play the piano and help with the music at church. Good uplifting music really helps me in my life. I love to go to church and learn from those who are there. Someone always know what to say, when I need to hear it. Going to church helps me feel like we are all in this together and that I am not alone.
