Hi I'm Joelle

I grew up in the country. I am a mom and a wife to my two beautiful blue eyed boys. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up farming with my family in Washington State. I got to grow up learning what it means to work and the value of playing once work was done, I developed a strong relationship with my family and in turn with my father in heaven. I am currently living in Baltimore, Maryland with my husband and our little man. My husband and I met at BYU-Idaho where I was studying Art. I have always been passionate about creating new things, whether I'm drawing or painting or my new hobby sewing. I love it all anything that will get my creativity juices flowing. I chose to be a stay at home mom and I love every minute I get to be with my handsome boy. We came to Baltimore for my husband’s graduate studies and he is now working for a nonprofit medical clinic. We are very blessed and happy and can’t wait for what’s to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that raised me in the church. I have been around the church my whole life, however that is not why I am a member. I believe that this is the true church on this earth today I have felt the spirit so strong that I cant possible deny the truth of it. When I was growing up I was very obedient, I would attend church and additional meetings because I knew it was expected of me. I would feel the spirit but I didn't have a true testimony of the gospel. It wasn't until my first year of college until I experienced the full power of the atonement. During this time in my life I was very sad and felt very alone. I was overcome with such emotion from the love and forgiveness I was feeling that I broke down and cried for a long time. I knew I was forgiven for my sins and I knew that I wasn't alone in this world. I knew that I belonged to the true church The Church of Jesus Christ or Later Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith, by being honest in everything that I do. I try to practice patience and at times its very hard with a one year old. I am not perfect I strive to be the best person I can be. I choose to be happy and I choose to love those who are around me the best that I know how. I am currently serving in my ward as the Ward website administrator but other callings have included teaching the primary children and taking joy in their sweet spirits. I come to church each Sunday and partake of the sacrament, I try to remember my savior through out the week and I try to be a good example to those who are around me.
