Hi I'm Dave

I'm in Utah. I'm into photography and visual design. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Dave. So you wanna know "about me"? Well, I like people, I guess. I like when people are nice. I like freeline skating... have you heard of that? Not inline, freeline. It's cool. I like hiking and stuff. I like taking pictures of stuff too. That's fun. I kinda like big cities. Even though I've never lived in one... Weird. I like little towns too. Actually, I'm living in one of those right now. I like being outside. I like being social. I guess that includes social networks... Whatever you gotta do to be social, I guess. And network..... I really like music. Love it, actually. Listening to it, playing it, singing it, whatever. I like it. Mostly singing it though. I'm not going to any college right now, but I plan to go into a music career later on in life. For me in my life, music has always had a powerful effect on me. Music touches the soul in a way that nothing else can. It's something that has the power to uplift and motivate people. I love music. But I also love the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. THAT has more power to uplift and motivate people than anything else. EVER. It's had a more powerful effect on me than anything else. EVER. Right now, I'm doing everything I can to tell everyone about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ because of what it's done for me. I'm into that whole "photography" thing. I'd like to call myself a musician... I guess I'm what they call a new age hippie. Whatever that means... My name is Dave Belnap, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true and I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and He lives. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed me, it's blessed my family, and it's blessed other people I know. I know it's true. I know it brings more happiness than anything the world has to offer. I'm grateful that I'm able to receive those blessings in my life. The blessings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ are available to everyone! All that's required of us is that we accept and live what's asked of us by Jesus Christ. He lives and loves each of us. God also loves each of us and has shown his love for each of his children by providing us with the Book of Mormon. It shows the path we should all take and helps us to find happiness and to find our way back to God. If you haven't yet found an answer for yourself that this book is true or that God has restored His Church on the earth, then you can! All it takes is that you read from the Book of Mormon and ask God if it's true. God has promised that he will answer you and I promise He will! He answered me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy sharing the message of the restored gospel with everyone I meet. Especially with friends and others who are close to me. It's the most important thing in my life and it's brought me more happiness than anything else in this life. I love seeing other people accept that message and experience the same happiness.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Dave
Some people may have the idea that Mormons are weird and live life with 'restrictions'. To clear up confusion, Mormons live pretty normal lives. We all like to have fun and enjoy life. That's why we're here. We want to get the most out of life. We constantly try to live by everything that God commands us to do. Some people may view this as living by rules or restrictions. Personally, I view them as something much different. They've made me who I am. They help me be the best I can be. They don't restrict me at all. I actually feel more free and happy when I obey my Father in Heaven. That's how I like to live my life. God gave me life. He knows how I can be happy and he's shown me. So I'm gonna take his advice. How do Mormons live? Well as for me, I live a life of happiness by always trying to obey my Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
