Hi I'm Noël Stutz

I love to read and write. I love to have fun! I was adopted when I was 12 years of age. I am 17 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of five children. The second youngest is seven years older then me. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was abandoned when I was four years old and had moved from foster home to foster home until I met my eternal family when I was 12 years old. I read and write constantly. I am applying to BYU-Idaho. I am a senior in high school and am in hair school. I love to spend my free time cooking and spending time with my family. I am a Harry Potter fanatic ( I have read the whole series 27 time). I love to serve others and make others smile. I work at a retail store in the mall.

Why I am a Mormon

Sometimes it is hard to explain to other people as to why I love being part of the LDS church because of the impact of the worldliness surrounding others including members of the church. People tell me all the time that I am missing out on all the fun at school parties because I won't drink or smoke. Its really hard to not just go with the flow and just do whatever I want to do. But the church has helped me in many ways in understanding why I shouldn't participate. When I started going to church, I was in a foster home and I would go to church with them every week. When I would go to church I would feel loved by everyone even if they didn't know me. The Church showed me a way of living that rarely involved abuse, hate, drinking problems and abandonment. Going to church let me feel safe. Whenever I had the opportunity to go to church after I moved over and over, I would. I could always tell the difference in my actions after I went to church and my testimony started to grow. I knew right away that the Church was a safe place but since I was young I never realized why. It was because when I was at church I could feel the love of God.I know that this is the true church and I can personally testify that the gospel can and will change your life for the better if you let it change you. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

As a teenager in the latter days, it is hard to live up to the church standards, and more importantly my own standards. I try my best at reading my scriptures as much as I can, pray daily. I rarely miss an opportunity to go to my church and serve. I love to have conversations with my parents regarding the gospel and how I can relate it to daily situations in my life today. I particularly love to go to my Sunday school classes every Sunday because of the honesty and how the lessons always relate to me in almost aspect of my life. I try to let all the young men and women know that they are loved and needed by someone in the world and that they are children of our Heavenly Father.
