Hi I'm Parker

I am a RM. I am an artist, handyman, biker, fisher, camper, piano player, swimmer, runner, and friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been living in Washington since I was born. After my dad finished college we moved into Washington to be close to my Grandparents. Its been 21 years now and I love living here. When I was 8 I started to learn to play the piano. Today I can play a lot of things from Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, all the way to John Schmidt. After finishing High School and getting my diploma and left for Idaho and completed a year of college there. I served a 2 year mission in Cleveland, Ohio. I plan to attend BYU - Idaho for the 2015 Winter Semester.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many things in my life that had brought me to a low. Something only two people who really knew exactly how I felt. Myself and the Savior. There is something special about being a Mormon that I guarantee you will not find anywhere else. Often times I have found myself in the midst of those who didn't have a friend or had issues that they felt they couldn't talk to someone. As I look back I see that I've been the example of what those people have become; a Son or Daughter of God. I hope that I can continue this practice. One of my most important beliefs as a Mormon is the connection we have that bring ourselves together as Brothers and Sister of our Heavenly Father. There is nothing greater - I believe - than the love our Father in Heaven has for each of us. And it helps to know that each of us has an eternal connection to the Almighty.

How I live my faith

At the moment my life is in the service of my God. Preaching the gospel is a commandment from our Heavenly Father when we take upon ourselves the name of Christ. I love the work. And I love the people who I have an opportunity to teach. Back home I felt responsible to my friends and family. I was once asked: "If you could define yourself in one word, what would it be?" My response was: kind. It is hard to be something than others may despise. But when a smile or kind word is the one thing that someone hears in the day and it came from me, it makes me so happy. The Savior was the perfect example to us all. I appreciate the trait my Heavenly Father gave me, for it is not my own. There are too many examples that have directed my life for the better. Too many people who have been the cause of my being here and no amount of thanks can supply the payment I owe to those who have been the cause for that.
