Hi I'm Elder Jake Andersen

I've been a mormon all my life and the knowledge I have of God's plan has blessed me greatly.

About Me

In my spare time, when I'm not on a mission, I like to ski or just play any other sport really. I play them all for fun, and they are fun even though I'm not good. Before leaving on a mission I attended BYU provo for a year, studying generals. So far, I have no idea what career path I'll end up choosing.

Why I am a Mormon

I relied on my parents' testimonies my early years in this church. But as I have matured and as I have accepted Christ as my savior and repented of my sins, I have come to have a deep love for God and his gospel. I have felt Heavenly Father's love in my life and I have a desire to share his gospel and bring others unto him so that they may also feel his love. I know this church is true, and I know that I am blessed to be a part of it. I know that the Book of Mormon is a gift from God, and that it was written for us so that we don't dwindle in unbelief. I know that God calls prophets like Thomas Monson today and that Joseph Smith was a prophet.

How I live my faith

I am currently acting as a representative of the lord by serving a mission. Everyday I get up at 6:30 am to spend my day in the service of my heavenly father. Acts of service I do range from helping someone with yard work to performing priesthood ordinances such as blessings.
