Hi I'm Elder Squires

I'm A Missionary, I love my Family, And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a Mormon. I have grown up in Utah all my life. Raised by 2 Loving parents, that have always been faithful to the gospel. I have an Amazing family that has also loved and cherished the Gospel. I am currently residing in Wisconsin because I am serving a 2 year Mission for my Savior, and it is blessing my life in more ways than I imagined possible!! Also, I'm a Die Hard BYU COUGARS Fan! Go Cougs!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and that I know he died for me. Through him, we will be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven, and we will be able to live forever. The gospel only helps bring happiness to peoples lives, and through living the gospel, we can find out what true happiness and joy is, rather than the happiness and joy that comes through worldly things. With the Gospel, we will be able to live with our families forever!

How I live my faith

By being an example to others, and to show others the Happiness that comes from living with the Gospel in your life. I am showing my example at the moment by leaving everything behind for 2 years in order to help spread the gospel to others so that they can also find that happiness as well.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Elder Squires
You can be forgiven of your sins through the Atonement of Jesus Christ by the process of repentance. Because Heavenly Father knew we would sometimes make wrong choices, He provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins. (John 3:16). He provided a Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that wehen we sincerely repent, we can be forgiven( Book of Mormon, Mosiah 4:6). When we sincerely repent, we: * Confess the sin both to God and anyone who has been harmed by our sin. In cases of serious sin, confession needs to be made to the proper priesthood authority. * Ask fogiveness from God and from anyone we have harmed. * When possible, repair the damage we have done. * Forsake our sins. * Strive to keep the commandments.
