Hi I'm Devron Johnson

I was born in Delta, Utah. I just returned from an LDS mission in Montreal, Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished serving in the Canada Montreal Mission for the LDS church. I love playing tennis, basketball, and pretty much any other sport you can think of. I love hanging out with friends and having fun. I also enjoy playing card games, board games, and camping. I am currently studying at Southern Utah University where I am working towards a Master's Degree in Accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both LDS. They taught me the gospel, but when I came to the age where I could decide for myself, I needed to make a choice. I knew that my parents believed that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true, but I needed to know for myself. I asked my Heavenly Father through prayer if I could receive an answer if this was His church. I studied the Book of Mormon and attended church, and whenever I did, I always received a warm and peaceful feeling. That was God's way of answering my prayers. I received a confermation. This is the restored church of Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to follow our Saviors example. I am grateful that my parents allowed me to find out for myself if I am doing what God wants me to do.

How I live my faith

The choices I make everyday determine how I live my faith. I want to be able to be considered a trustworthy, respectable person by all those who come in contact with me. I know that I don't have the answers to everything which makes it easy to remember our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Devron Johnson
Mormons are not required to serve a mission. I am currently serving one. I have been called to the Canada Montreal Mission speaking French. It was a personal choice I made. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and share the gospel with others. The gospel has blessed my life, and I want the opportunity to share that with others. Show more Show less
