Hi I'm Nicole

I grew up in beautiful Southern Califonia. I want to write books for fourth and fifth grade readers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student earning an English major and Editing minor. My dream career is one dedicated to writing books like those which so enchanted and inspired me during my late elementary education. Growing up playing soccer gave me a love for competition and confidence in the power of making and keeping personal and team goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God has made it known to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or the Mormon Church, is directed by His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Countless times this has been confirmed to my mind and heart as I sincerely pray and pay attention to answers. Other truths I know with certainty through prayer include that God is our loving Heavenly Father and that He has repeatedly reached down to His children on Earth with the love of a parent to give them knowledge of how to be happy in this life and the next. That knowledge -- the good news or Gospel of Jesus Christ -- was brought back through God's prophet, Joseph Smith. President Thomas Monson is our prophet today. Being a member of this Church is truly a blessing -- a blessing I hope to share with others.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am privileged to serve as a full-time missionary for my church. As such, I am always on the lookout for ways to serve in the community and discuss with anyone open to listen the truths about finding happiness in this life and eternal joy in the hereafter.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Nicole
For me the knowledge of God's existence has grown over the years. As a child I think I understood with greater hope than faith in God's existence -- it was a matter of course and the foundation by which I was raised. As an adult I've learned that my relationship with God only increases as I strive to know Him better -- although He knows me perfectly and is anxious for me to know Him better, the choice is mine to seek Him out through prayer, study, and obedience to His commandments. Coming to know who my Heavenly Father is has been the most difficult, rewarding, and wonderful journey I've taken -- it is a process I look forward to continue in throughout the rest of my life.
