Hi I'm Tom

I just moved from Louisiana to Colorado. I love cycling, woodworking, and spending time with my girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have four beautiful daughters and an amazing wife. I love sports, cycling, woodworking, horses, and enjoying the outdoors. I have a degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. I served a Spanish speaking mission for our church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I spent the last ten wonderful years working in commercial construction in Louisiana, but recently moved to Colorado Springs to pursue some entrepreneurial business goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I believe that it is the same church that Christ established when He was on the earth. I know that His church was restored to the earth through the modern day prophet, Joseph Smith, and that it contains the fullness of His everlasting gospel. I know that His power, the Priesthood of God, was also restored to the earth as part of the restoration of His church, and that He continues to call prophets and apostles, as He did anciently. I am grateful to know the He loves us today as much as He did anciently, and that He continues to guide us through a living prophet of God, Thomas S. Monson. I am also a Mormon because I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ, written by prophets who lived on the American continent. I love the Plan of Salvation that it teaches, and the knowledge that families are eternal; that we can make and keep covenants that will lead to eternal life.

How I live my faith

I strive to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through the way I live my life each day. I am currently serving as our Ward Mission Leader, which means I help coordinate efforts in our ward to share the message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in our area. I love the opportunity to serve others, both for the opportunity to help those in need, and for the blessings that come in to my life as I do so.
