Hi I'm Kendra

I grew up in Orlando, FL. And I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now, I am attending college. My major is Child Development with a minor in Marriage and Family Studies. (and I know that sounds like a Mormon girl thing to do, but I really do love working with children and the family structure has always been fascinating. And it doesn't hurt to get pointers on families before I have one, and as much as I want to help my family, I do want to help others) Some hobbies and interests of mine are 1. Just being around people that I know, I am not the type of person that sits around and does nothing; it's good to have a social atmosphere. 2. Walking; just by myself, with people, around the park, enjoying the cool night air. 3. Reading; if the book is good, I will read it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon; firstly, because I was born into the church, but that does not mean that I have an automatic testimony. Growing up was hard living in a place where I was 1 out of 10 Mormons in my high school. And my family started to fall apart. I read the Book of Mormon, when I was 19, for the first time all the way through without anybody telling me to. And in Moroni 10 where it says to "ask the Lord to know if these things are true", I did that, and I knew for a surety that what I read and what I learned all my life was true with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I am currently at a church college, so everyday is living the Mormon life style, which helps greatly when mostly everyone around you has the same values and standards.
