Hi I'm Carter

I am a grateful son, a father blessed with 4 awesome kids, a lucky husband to a beautiful wife and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, traveling, sports and spending time with my wife and 4 kids. I graduated from college in International Business. I now work in St Paul Minnesota. I love the Minnesota seasons although I do feel bad about my California-raised wife having to spend her winters here. I have four incredible kids who have taught me so much about how I can be a better person. I'm just trying to do my best every day to become just a little better - a little more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I feel that I have had some humbling experiences in my life but know I have have learned more from these experience than if I had not had them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the feeling of the Holy Ghost testify to me the truthfulness of the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt the overwhelming joy that comes from living a righteous life and from trying to follow the example of my Savior. I know that I often fall short but know that through the saving power of Christ I can be forgiven of my sins and live with Him again. I know that I cannot do this alone but know that I have so much to help me along the way - my family, my brothers and sisters in my ward, the Bible and the Book of Mormon, our mondern-day prophet, and personal prayer. They are all there for me when I reach out in need and lift me up and support me as I continue my quest to return to live with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I help out at church with our youth program - planning activities and helping our youth recognize their full potential. I am so impressed with our youth. Many of them are the only ones in their high school who have chosen to live the standards of the gospel such as not swearing, being kind to others, not cheating, wearing modest clothes, not smoking or drinking, and saving themselves for marriage. They not only live these standards but are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in and share their beliefs with others. They show their love for the Gospel through the joy that they reflect in their lives.
