Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a product of a disfunctional family. Pretty much my life had no direction. When I was 23 I was watching TV when the Mormon ad came up. I had the impression to call the 1-800 number on screen. A few days later 2 Mormon missionaries came knocking at my door. They shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ, their faith and the purpose of life. I felt the sprit every discussion andinvited me to pray about it. The Holy Ghost testified the truthfulness of their message and I decided to be baptized and join the church. My life changed, I have this joy in my heart. I just don't want to stop at that point. I knew I had to do something and share that joy to others. That's when I decided to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have a family of my own now. I am married to the most amazing woman, Polly. She is a help meet and a wonderful companion. We are blessed with 3 beautiful children. Being a husband and a father is the best thing in this life. I want to see my children grow and learn and be a part of their everyday lives.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I became a member of this church, I have so much hope for a better future. I have found the true meaning and purpose of life. I learn more and more each day. I find peace and joy on the simple things in life. I am able to face challenges and I have faith that the Lord is at my side. Being a member of this church gave me an eternal perspective of what life is all about. I am happy and I look forward to learning moreabout the scriptures, listen and heed to the words of the living prophet. I don't know where would I be without the Church. I know that this is the only true church. I loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best Christian I can be. I want to my life in harmony with Christ teachings. I want to walk His ways and be able to reflect his teachings in my life. What I love about the Church is that we have opportunities to serve. I currently work with the adultmen group. I get to teach on Sundays. We reach out to households in need and help them in every way we can to lighten their burden and share spiritual messages. Serving others brings joy and I have learned that it is better to serve than being served.
