Hi I'm Torri

I am a small town Idaho girl that loves her family and the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife and mother. My family is central to my life, and I count my blessings each day to have each member of my family. As for my hobbies, I love to read, and I love to teach. I work from home teaching online for the Pathway Program and BYU-Idaho. It is a blessing to be able to teach and still be a full time mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Heavenly Father's true Plan of Happiness. I often wonder what my life would be like if I didn't have the knowledge of where we came from and our purpose on this Earth. As it is, I know that we were sent here to learn and grow. I know that we are here to lift those around us so they too can be happy and progress. More than anything I want this same happiness for my own children. By teaching them the gospel and serve as an example for them I can make that happen.

How I live my faith

In our family, we hold daily family prayer and scripture study. We enjoy weekly family home evening and relish in every opportunity to spend time with our family. Serving my family is of utmost importance to me. I find guidance through personal prayer and scripture study as well as regular temple attendance. I find sanctuary and peace in the house of the Lord. I also love to help my neighbors and friends wherever I can. I love to visit other families and sisters in the ward, taking treats and dinners whenever there is a need. My calling is a gospel doctrine teacher, and I seek guidance from the Holy Ghost to help me teach.
