Hi I'm McKay

I'm a missionary, making lives better is my passion, I love Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm passionate about a lot of things. I love business and entrepreneurship; that's what I studied for a couple semesters at college before I left for my mission. I enjoy seeing and being a part of new things that make the world a better place through innovation. I'm also very passionate about technology. I worked at an Apple Store in Utah where I would sell Apple products and help people with the problems. While I worked there I really started to see just how much technology could impact people's lives and I loved working with these people. Music is a huge part of my life. I love listening to all kinds of music old and new. There's not a day that goes by that music doesn't have an impact on my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, because I have a testimony of the truth of it's gospel. I've read and prayed about the Book of Mormon to know if it is true and there is no doubt in in my mind that it is true. I know that the contents of this book are real and can bring me closer to God than anything else. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and through him the full gospel was brought back to this earth. I've seen and experienced how following Jesus' example can bring true lasting happiness to those who choose to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as a missionary for the church. It's my responsibility to represent the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and share the gospel with the people in my area so they can have a stronger desire to follow Jesus Christ. I invite people to make commitments that will benefit them and their families. Some of these commitments are to read the Book of Mormon, come to church, or being baptized. By keeping and following these commitments people can experience blessings that will increase the quality of their lives.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

McKay
A testimony is how you feel and what you know about the gospel, or the word of God. This could be on the church itself, God, Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, The Book of Mormon, and or anything else about the gospel. Show more Show less
