Hi I'm Jack

I've worked with concrete all my life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lifted weights and exercised ever since I was 13 years old. I'm still working out. I took classes and learned how to scuba dive, when I was younger. It was interesting, and I did it for about 2 years. The deepest I would dive was 90 feet! The best part was seeing all the different colors, plants, and fish. I used to do running races: 5k, 10k, 15k, and half marathon races. I'm still working part time with my son in doing concrete. I like working with him because I have more time with him and I naturally get to know him better. I like to garden. My wife and I work together in the garden (what I don't know, she knows). We only have room for a little garden. We've prayed for another homestead with a bigger garden area.

Why I am a Mormon

One year after I was divorced and living by myself, the missionaries stopped by, they seemed honest and real. I really liked what they were doing. And what they were teaching. It made sense to me so I went to the Church to see what it was all about. I believed everything about the Church. I knew about the scriptures and the commandments, but I didn't follow all of them. Then I joined the Church and my life changed. Then I married a Mormon woman. Now I have been blessed for so many things, I can't even remember all of them.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith... I go to Church every Sunday when I'm not sick and I also try to go to all the other functions when I can. I'm in charge of the library and I help others whenever I can, if I have the time. I'm also in charge of the role call, so I can mark down all who attend. It's not much, but it's still important.
