Hi I'm Eric

I was raised in Santa Clara Utah, I love to play baseball, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 5 brothers and no sisters in my family. My parents got me heavily involved in a lot of sports at an early age. As I entered high school I made the decision to quit playing football and wrestling so that I could focus on playing baseball. My family is really big into playing the piano. I love long boarding, wake boarding, and skim boarding as long as I do them with my family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

Because of feelings that come from the Holy Ghost I know that this church is true. There are so many doors that Heavenly Father has been able to unlock for me and my family because we have the knowledge of the restored gospel. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ visited Joseph Smith 200 years ago and called him to restore all of His gospel back onto the earth. I know this because the Spirit has entered into my heart and mind as I have read from the Book of Mormon and pondered the things that it contains. As we read the Book of Mormon with an open heart, really wanting to know if it is true, Heavenly Father will plant little thoughts in your mind of how you need to repent and change. As we act on those promptings we develope a testimony that these things are true. This Is It!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full time mission in Orlando Florida for the Mormon church. I love being able to share my beliefs with people regardless if they want to listen or not. I have seen so many people change because of the effect that the restored gospel has on their lives. It is a blessing to be able to share with the world every day that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ still talk to us on earth and that we have a living prophet that leads and guides us throughout mortality. The restored gospel has helped me in every aspect of my life. In high school I never wanted to miss a day of reading my scriptures. I would wake up in the morning and have a desire to read from my scriptures before I did anything else if possible. They kept me focused on priorities and gave me a foundation to build my life on. I know that by choosing to read the Scriptures everyday it helped me to be successful in academics, in sports and in preparing to serve a full time mission
