Hi I'm Ces

I 'm a Freelance Writer, blogger, a proud mom and a wife.I am from the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to a very responsible man and a mother to my two wonderful sons. Family is very important to me and though things are not what they used to be, we try to bond together by talking with each other often, reading together, and have simple family activities. I have a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, but now works home-based as a freelance writer due to my illness. I love reading books, writing, and singing and am thankful for being a part of our ward's choir.I love watching Korean movies or mini-series, and my favorite pastime is eating. I try to be updated with what is happening around the world, study a new language or new skills because I believe that education does not stop once you got your college diploma. Life is a learning process and I'm happy to be alive to inspire others!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 but have been inactive from the church during my college years. Thanks to the missionary, I was able to bring my two sons and my husband to the church, and be sealed with them for eternity. I'm a Mormon even when I was away from the church because I still follow all the things I was taught when I was young. I know that I'm a special daughter of my Heavenly father and my example also led to my family's conversion. Even though I studied in schools run by other denominations, I was never converted to their faith, even when I was inactive, because I know that the Church is true. I have never doubted the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Because of the Church, I learned a lot of things that made me stronger in times of trials. Because I'm a Mormon, I know my purpose in life, and that I should never waste the time given to me while on this world. I have been thankful to know my Savior because of the gospel. I also know that I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. He hears me. .

How I live my faith

My family and I love spending our Sundays in the church, as well as attending the different church's activities. I am wheelchair-bound, but I love fulfilling my calling as a teacher for children ages 8 to 11, help in Public Affairs and Employment Resources. They say that I am an inspiration to others, but what they do not know is how I feel when I am in the church. For me, faith is not a feeling but your willingness to do what you believe in. I live my faith by reading my scriptures daily, having my personal prayer, and by following my leaders' counsel. I try to read as much about my faith so that I will not be deceived.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Ces
Faith is not a feeling, but it is your willingness to follow what you believe in. Jesus Christ showed the great example on how we should treat other people, including our spouses, family members, and friends - that is, to love one another. If we have faith in Jesus Christ, then we should follow all His commandments. Successful marriages happen because couples put Jesus Christ at the center of their relationship. If we have trust in the Lord, then we should be able to trust our family and friends. Faith is important in any relationship because it results in unity. Show more Show less
