Hi I'm Vladimiro Cicero C. de Leon

I'm a Mormon. Served my two year mission at Philippines Cagayan de Oro. Currently serving as the bishop of our ward.

About Me

I'm currently working at Factset Research Philippines Inc. as a transcriptionist. A graduate of Computer Secretarial and BS in Information Technology. A husband and father to my wife and daughter. Currently serving in the Bishopric.

Why I am a Mormon

Being an LDS or a Mormon is one of the most wonderful blessings I have received in this world. It is where I have found the true meaning of life and its essence. It is where I have found God's love for me. And most importantly it is where I have found the truth in everything. The gospel which are being taught in the church always points me in the right direction. It motivates me to live a righteous life here on earth. It intensify my desire to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. And it makes me yearn so deep to be with Him and live with Him someday.

How I live my faith

Through personal scripture reading and study, personal prayer and constantly pondering about the Savior's atonement, I always have that motivation and inspiration to lead my wife and daughter in family home evening, family prayer and family scripture study. By always striving to raise the level of my spirituality in my daily lives, I will be able to feed my family in their spiritual needs. For me family are the most important thing in this world. And helping them not just only temporally but most importantly spiritually, I will be able to have that chance to be with them through time and eternity. By living the gospel in my life and sharing my testimony to the ward members, I know that it will somehow help strengthen them spiritually and have that desire to also live the gospel within their lives. By always making sure to be in ward activities especially to the organization which I am assigned at, I will be able to show my support to the ward leaders.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Vladimiro Cicero C. de Leon
Death in this world is just temporary and separation between our love ones are just but the same. What matters most is that the love that we have for our family will be carried not just only in this life but even after this life. And that's one of the fundamental doctrince of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, for families to be with each other through time and eternity. As we accept the Lord's atonement in our lives and received the necessary ordinances most importantly one that's being performed inside the temple, which is sealing, the promise of an eternal family will become possible. But only through the effort of each member will it become a reality. And that's by living the gospel in their lives, in their home and making the Savior as the center of their lives as a family.
