Hi I'm Byron

I'm really into things, I like to do stuff, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

So, there's not much to me, really. I was reared in the burbs of Mesa, AZ, with a sizable family of six siblings. One time, I graduated from film school. Then, I decided to pay my way to talk to people about Jesus, and that pretty much brings us to the present.

Why I am a Mormon

I think that no matter who you are, everyone reaches a point in their life where they have to decide what it is that they truly believe. I was no different. Though I was raised in the Church and saw value in its teachings, I didn't truly know if this was what I was supposed to get out of life until I took the challenge that missionaries everywhere are encouraging people to do: Read the Book of Mormon and pray to know the truthfulness of it. Once I did that with sincerity, I gained a grasp on what it was that I was to do. Simply put, the Lord enlightened me through His Holy Spirit and I came to know that the things I had learned were true. What greater witness can you have than from God? He is the source of all knowledge and truth, so why not ask Him what the truth is? The greatest thing is, that the answer to whether or not this is indeed Christ's church doesn't have to be a singular event. As I continue to live the commandments, I receive constant reassurances that I am on the right path. Why would I turn anywhere else?

How I live my faith

I've always tried to live my life in a manner that would be pleasing to God. Life hasn't always been perfect, but when you do your best and trust in God, things have a way of working out. Helping others is the Gospel in its purest form, and I've been privileged to serve in many different capacities in the Lord's Church. Most recently, I was called to teach the people of Pennsylvania the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that has been THE most rewarding thing I've ever done! Living the principles of the Gospel and constantly seeking for greater spiritual truths brings lasting happiness.
