Hi I'm Stacy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I care for children with special needs. I have worked with behaviorally challenged children in schools. As hobbies I hike, bike, write, and read, but most of all I am a mother. Still, God and my husband are number one.

Why I am a Mormon

What's the reason I'm a Mormon- It's the happiest way to be. In addition to a healthy, productive lifestyle, what other organization is capable of holding services and activities outside the home that support everything good you do within your home? What other organization more fully recognizes the power and influence of a mother who chooses to raise children full time? What other organization sends members to check on the well being of others as often as Latter Day Saints? We build communities. We take care of families.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is best manifested in the home. My husband and I chose to make financial sarafices so I may stay home and enjoy motherhood in its full glory. I get to enjoy every laugh, comfort every tear, witness every mile stone. I am blessed. And in reality it is not a sacrifice at all, but an investment of time in our most important commodity. Outside the home my husband and I both taught youth in Sunday School. We taught the basics of our religion; God's plan of happiness, a health code revealed by God known as the Word of Wisdom, how families can be together forever, and how the Lord blesses us as we keep his commandments. I visit with people in our community often. I check in on an elderly woman, who has raised her own children and even grandchildren, I visit with a busy mother of five children, and with a newly married woman in a small apartment. There are so many good people. I know as we serve those around us, more than just our own family, we will experience great joy.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Stacy
The greatest happiness we can experience now and hereafter is found in the family. The Lord's Plan of Salvation provides a way that families can be together for eternity. As stated in The Family Proclamation to the World, the family is ordained of God. We believe the family is the basic and fundamental unit of society. Everything done in this church is to support and strengthen the family. Because our family is so important, we are sealed together in holy temples. We are also sealed to our ancestors, creating an unbroken chain of family. Family is what this life, and the next, is all about. Show more Show less
