Hi I'm Kevin Curtis

I am a student, an outdoors enthusiast, a future mechanic, lover of music and dancing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a family of six, my parents, my two sisters, myself and my younger brother, however the Lord decided our family was not finished. At a young age my aunt died of cancer and my uncle had some problems with the law, so my parents were given the choice to take in my six cousins, it was never a question for my parents, they immediately accepted and my six cousins were adopted into our family. It has not been easy, living in a family of ten children, and thanks to issues with my father's employment money has never been something we've had much of. But the Lord has blessed us and we have made it past the trials and hardships.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into Christ's church and always believed I had a strong testimony. But as I grew older, I made some wrong choices and slowly began to fall away from His church. Eventually I decided to leave the church entirely but as I told this to my parents, the testimony of my father touched my soul, it pushed away all confusion in me and left only light. My savior, Jesus Christ, has given me a second chance to live my life the right way and I will strive to live it in His service. I know this church is true, I love this gospel and the joy that it brings, and I love my savior and my God, and I know that they love us and they know us individually. Never doubt, never despair, He is with you!

How I live my faith

I have spent the past while teaching the 12-13 year old young men in my ward, it has been a joy to see their strength and to hear their young testimonies. Soon I will also be sacrificing two years to the service of my God.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Kevin Curtis
How do we come to know our parents here on earth? We learn about them, their lives and the things they have done. We can do that as we learn of the true nature of our Father in Heaven and learn his doctrine. We can also learn of him through prayer. As we humbly bow before our God he is able grant unto us knowledge through personal revelation. I know that we can learn of our Heavenly Father, if we have faith and begin with just a desire to know Him, and as we act on that faith He will reveal Himself to us. I have seen this in my own life and am so grateful for the knowledge I have been given. Show more Show less
