Hi I'm Amelia

I love theatre. I rock climb. I love traveling the world and learning about other cultures. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying to teach theatre and French. I'm an avid yoga enthusiast, I love rock climbing and aerial arts. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe in Jesus Christ. I have seen His power in my life, and I know that when I am truly happy, it is because I am following the path He has laid out for me. The Atonement has great power to change our lives, free us from the pain of sin, and help us to become better people. Christ gives us purpose and a reason to our lives. It's so we can learn to love, and be part of something greater than ourselves. Part of a forever family. I believe in the Book of Mormon and its teachings. Its plain and precious truths go hand in hand with the truth of the Bible to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I know that by living those teachings we can receive a fulness of joy.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every Sunday. We have great discussions on gospel principles, the scriptures and Jesus Christ, and how we can live those principles every day in our lives. I participate in callings where I can help out and serve the members of our ward community doing things like looking after and teaching children, organizing library materials, and visiting other members and friends. Throughout the week we have fun activities where we come together, play games, share talents, and get to know each other. We build a community and learn how to share and serve each other and the Lord.
