Hi I'm Chris

I'm from Hertfordshire, England, and I served a full time mission in Melbourne, Australia!

About Me

I'm Chris, your typical university student and sports enthusiast. I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to serve a full time mission for the Church in Melbourne, Australia, for 2 years.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born and raised into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I am a Mormon because I have experienced the reality of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ work in my life and in the lives of those around me. I also know Jesus Christ is the Son of God, The Saviour and Redeemer of mankind. I have come to recognise the truths that are taught from the Prophets of God in every age, and I know that God continues to guide us (His Children) through continual revelation. God does not, and will not, leave us alone. I know that God lives, and still speaks to mankind today. In addition, I also take time to personally study the Bible and the Book of Mormon side by side, and I pray about the truthfulness of the words they contain. I have received many spiritual witnesses that The Book of Mormon is true, which adds to my testimony of the reality of The Prophet Joseph Smith and all that he saw and taught. I can truthfully say, I take time to reflect upon the teachings of the Church and the implications these teachings have on myself, the ones I love, and the world around me. I can, without doubt, say that I know the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth again through a true Prophet of God, to bless all of God's children (us) on this earth and those who have passed on. I'm a Mormon - I know it, I live it, I love it!

How I live my faith

My faith is reflected by the way I choose to live my life. I make my own choices everyday, some choices are inconsequential, while others are of eternal significance. When I make significant choices in my life, it is up to me to decide whether to apply the teachings of The Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Prophets, or whether I simply choose another way. I always find peace and happiness in living the principles of The Gospel of Jesus Christ and choosing to do what is right. Currently, I spend my time with the Young Adults of the Church helping them learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and finding ways to stand strong against the temptations of the world.
