Hi I'm Savannah

I'm a baker, a traveler, a missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest child in my family. I have 7 brothers and one sister. I've studied humanities for two years at BYU-Idaho and love to travel around the world. I've been to 14 different countries and lived in 4 different countries. I love to bake cakes, drive, listen to music, talk with people, and experience new cultures. I am now currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sweden.

Why I am a Mormon

I've spent a lot of time in my life travelling around to new countries and meeting new people. While I lived in Jerusalem I met many people who were of a different faith and worshiped God in different ways. As I've gotten older and experienced more, I have continued to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I have continued to worship God as He commands us to because of the perspective it gives me on life and the strength I receive from keeping my covenants. Life is hard for everyone and we all need help dealing with our problems and I've found that making covenants with God and following His Son Jesus Christ gives us the best help and the most strength to overcome our problems. I'm grateful to Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that he made for not only me, but you too. He truly did atone for our sins and make it possible for us to return to our Father in Heaven and become like Him. I know that as we follow His example and His commandments, we are promised and we will be the recipients of God's divine love and aid in each of our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by keeping the covenant that I made with God when I was baptized. I try to represent Jesus Christ in everything that I do. I study the scriptures, pray, and attend my church meetings regularly to help give myself the strength to keep my promises to God. I also live my faith through serving a mission and sharing the gospel with all who will listen.
