Hi I'm Leah

I live in Utah. I'm going to school to be a teacher. I'm married to an amazing husband and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love the outdoors, being spontaneous, and going on adventures. My most memorable adventures include skydiving, teaching English in China for 5 months, and days spent with my husband. Every day is an adventure with him. Right now I am attending college in Utah and will graduate with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2 years. I am a waitress and a substitute teacher. During my free time, I like to go camping, play board games, go running, do crafty things, blog, and read a good book. Feel free to visit my blog: http://www.lottsofsmiles.blogspot.com/

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings peace and happiness. Nothing can replace the peace I feel when I kneel in prayer and feel God's love for me and the hope for a brighter future. I am a Mormon because I whole-heartily know that what we believe is true. We believe that Christ atoned and died for us so that we can become better each and every day. I like who I am because I'm a Mormon. Without the gospel, I would feel worthless and lost. Because of the gospel, I don't need special skills or talents to feel important or loved. God loves me not matter what and being a Mormon has helped me to know this is true. I am a Mormon because it gives me purpose in this crazy world. We were not put on this earth merely to live in it and hope that everything turns out okay. We were put here to learn, progress, server others, and to be happy! And being a Mormon has perfectly outlined how I can do those very things, and gives me the strength and courage to do them!

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I participate in church meetings and attend classes. My husband and I are ward missionaries for our church. Every Sunday we attend and take turns teaching a gospel's principle class where we discuss the basics. It is our hope and and joy that we can find people to share our beliefs with and invite them to attend our ward meetings and come to our class to learn more. I also enjoy attending ward activities, participating in ward service projects, and being willing to help out wherever needed.
