Hi I'm Larry Pitts

I am a father of five, husband to a great girl, and an engineer by trade. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in 1971, my parents divorced but are good friends. I have five brothers and two sisters, but two brothers have already been called home to our Heavenly Father. My wife introduced me to the church, and I opened my heart to listen to the missionaries. I was baptized in Jan, 1999. We have five wonderful children and enjoy having fun together. We especially love to travel across the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I have met so many wonderful members of this church who truly live as apostles of Christ. It is their example that originally opened my heart to their message, and allowed me to consider what was their primary motivation for consistently living to such high principles. I joined the church and still do not consider myself as one of those examples, yet. But I hope to improve every year, and one day be one of those that inspires a person to consider the source of my faith.

How I live my faith

I enjoy volunteering for service projects, particularly when we can provide help to those who can no longer perform certain tasks (like yard maintenance for an elderly widow). Participating in my childrens' activities, such as talent shows and parties, is also very rewarding. I am called to teach lessons during our church from time to time, which provides a great incentive to study the scriptures and learn more about the Lord. I truly believe that when we are in the service of our fellow beings, we truly are serving the Lord.
