Hi I'm Daniel

I love Christ with all my heart. Joseph Smith was a prophet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of seven children. Some say that means I'm spoiled, but I think it means I got hit seven times more than my other siblings. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was five years old. My parents have taught me to love the earth and learning. I love art, carving, hiking, camping, frisbee, the french horn and especially the gospel. I'm a french horn performance major at BYU. Eventually I want to become an endocrinologist. I love reptiles and amphibians and every other living thing. I want to be a good person and make a difference some how in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the LDS church means everything to me. My parents are members of the church, my grandparents, great-grandpartents and great-great grandparents have been members. The church emphasizes the importance of family, and because of the teachings of the prophets my parents raised me in a strong, loving home. Every opportunity I've had that has changed my life has come from being a member on the church. Besides that I've had some questions and doubts that really bothered me. I've had lots of ordinary problems, but they seemed really hard. Through personal experiences of prayer I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me, and they'll help me with all of my problems. Without my personal experiences with miracles through practicing my religion I wouldn't be a member of this church.

How I live my faith

Most of all I try to avoid anything shameful or hurtful, and try to live to help others and make them feel happier. Right now I'm serving a full time mission for the church, which means I wake up and study, eat a little bit, and go try to help and teach people, and then go to bed at night. I love helping people and seeing how learning about Jesus Christ and modern-day prophets can help people change and be happier.
