Hi I'm Soren Mann

I grew up in Southern California. I love to hike, play frisbee/ultimate, and stargaze. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I'm Soren. I completed high school in Southern California just over a year ago and spent the last year in Utah going to school. I like to think that I'm an avid hiker. In Socal, I've hiked San Gorgonio 7 times, San Jacinto once, and all sorts of other smaller local hikes with my friends. When we weren't hiking, we'd be down on the soccer field playing Ultimate. The next 2 years I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Boise, Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be Mormon because I have come to know that what the church teaches, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is true.

How I live my faith

Scouting and choosing good friends have been some of the most important ways I've lived my faith. In scouts we were taught to 'do a good turn daily'. That really drove home with me. I would always try to give a helping hand if I could. Whether it was holding a door open for somebody else or just offering a smile, I would always do my best to help make someone else's day brighter. Having amazing friends has been another great way that I have been able to live my faith. My friends have always pushed me to do good. They have never tried to pressure me into doing anything that would harm myself or others. We've helped eachother become the best people we can be.
