Hi I'm Dustin

I grew up in the farm lands of Idaho. I now work as a consultant for the largest CPA firm in the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The motto of our family has always been "Work hard, play hard." And with two girls and a baby boy, we definitely have been sticking to our motto. Every day seems to bring a new adventures and new blessings. In 2006, my wife Alisha and I met in a Russian class in college. We had both finished serving missions in Russia; I spent my time in Moscow and Alisha in Siberia. We both returned home and decided to study advanced Russian in order to perfect our Russian language skills. From the first day of class I knew that Alisha was someone I wanted to get to know better. I asked her to study with me and the rest is history. Our Russian isn't too useful in Utah, except for talking about Christmas presents in front of our three children and keeping up with Russian friends on Facebook. However, we both have great desire to return to Russia and are waiting for the right job opportunity to get us back among the Russian people that we learned to love so much. I am currently working as a CPA/consultant at a large accounting firm, where I help corporations with tax planning, entity structure, and financial analysis. Alisha is busy taking care of the children, but still runs her own photography business on the side. In my free time, I love spending time with my kids, especially outdoors hiking, camping, and playing. I also enjoy golfing, snowboarding, and boating. I also love studying politics and history. Alisha calls me a politics junkie, but I call it being informed. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found no better way to come to know Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have made it a goal to study scriptures daily which helps us live better and helps us keep our home a peaceful sanctuary for our kids to grow up in. We try to live the way Christ teaches us in the scriptures, which means serving our neighbors and community. In the past year I have been involved with the 8 yr old Cub Scouts, teaching them about
