Hi I'm Peter

I'm a Mormon. I have a testimony that Christ lives and is our Savior. He loves us and wants us to be happy.

About Me

I was blessed to be born to a family who was active in the LDS church. I served a mission for two years in Montevideo, Uruguay. I married my wife in the Salt Lake Temple in 1984. We have five beautiful children and six wonderful grand-children. My life has been blessed in unmeasureable ways as a result of my membership and activity in the Mormon church. I have served in a variety of church leadership positions, including Bishoprics, Young Mens Program, Primary, Sunday School, and I have witnessed the blessings of the church for members in every congregation I have been a part of. Today I serve as the Gospel Doctrine teacher in our Sunday School organization.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm an active member of the LDS church and have a strong testimony of the divinity of the Godhead. I know God lives and loves us. I know Jesus suffered on the cross and took upon himself our sins, pains, anquishes, and made it possible for us to live again with him and our Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the withness of the Holy Ghost testify to my soul of the truthfulness of the gospel and Gods great plan of happiness for me. I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of the Mormon church. As a Gospel Doctrine teacher, I'm able to study the scriptures and lessons to share with fellow church members. In addition, I am a Home Teacher. A Home Teacher goes into members homes on a regular basis, at least monthly, to share the gosel, encourage active participation, help family members and provide needed service. Our family studies the scriptures every day. Scripture study has helped us maintain a spiritual atmosphere in our home, has helped us learn from one another, provided us with opportunities to share our thoughts and beliefs, and has strengthened our love toward one another, our Heavenly Father, our Savior, Jesus Christ, and our relationship with the Holy Ghost. I love to share the gospel with others. And, when possible, I enjoy learning about other religions and my testimony of the fullness of the gospel increases as I have discussions with others. I try to be a good neighbor and friend to those who live around us. And, in our case, none of our neighbors are members of the LDS church. I'm not perfect, but I strive to live the teachings of the gospel in all aspects of my life. As such, I'm happy and content with the life style I live.
