Hi I'm Jessica

I am a student, employee, and love anything outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived most of my life in Utah and have loved every minute of it. I am a student at the University here in town and am also working. I enjoy Utah for the 4 seasons and all the things you can do here. A few things I enjoy are rock climbing, biking, hiking, swimming, strawberry limeades, and playing the piano. I'm one of 5 kids and I have family all around the globe.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I've been exposed to this all my life and it is one thing I know for certain to be true. Being in Utah almost my whole life, I think I have taken for granted how wonderful this gospel really is. I was in my teenage years when I finally found my own testimony. When I live my life the way I should be and am doing what is right, there is this peace that comes into my life. No matter how crazy life can get I know that everything is part of a plan and it will all be okay. I know that my Redeemer lives and is fully aware of me and has never once forgotten who I am or what is going on in my life. My membership in this church is one of the most vauable things I posses and I would not trade it for anything. I know that I can be with my family for time and all eternity and return to my Father in Heaven someday. There have been times of uncertainty and doubt but there has always been a helping hand to help me get through those times and it definitely strengthens my testimony. I'm grateful for the wonderful people who surround me and bless my life on a day to day basis. This church is true, the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I know Pres. Monson is a Prophet of God. There is a comfort and peace in my life that comes from this and I know my life would not be half as happy without it. I'm proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I've been born and raised in the gospel and I've had a number of callings in this church. A lot of them have involved the piano and organ but I've been also helped with young kids, people my age and even the elderly. I enjoy how interactive this church is and it makes it so easy to make friends and reach out to other people who may need a little extra pick me up.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormon people are normal people who enjoy normal things. We have the 10 commandments that we follow to help keep us safe, healthy and strong. I think of the commandements as guidlines to help us live a happier life. We attend church, activities, read scriptures, pray, and do our best to fulfull our church obligations. We live a happy life and deep down are just like everyone else out there. Show more Show less
