Hi I'm Eric

I am a teenager, an amateur designer, a gamer, an Eagle Scout, and coder. I am a brother, a son, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student working toward getting my diploma. When I graduate high school, I want to study computer science and become a software engineer. I really enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, chemistry experiments, and coding computer programs. I am a Midwestern boy growing up on the east coast and I love it! I moved around a bit, with stops in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, and now North Carolina. I am fascinated with nature and love spending time outdoors, something I got to do a lot of in Boy Scouts. I especially like to star-gaze and imagine just how many stars there are in the universe.

Why I am a Mormon

Through all the travels and travails I've been through, this Church has provided an anchor to me and I have been able to keep going through tough times. I know that in our toughest times, our Heavenly Father wants to help us, and all we need to do is to pray in faith and ask for those blessings and he will give them to us. I tested the power of prayer and I know it works. If you have any problems that just seem unconquerable, just ask in faith for that which you need and the Lord will give it to you.

How I live my faith

I try to live the teachings of the scriptures by trying to be like Jesus. I try to remain cheerful and loving toward my fellowmen and be a good example, through living the standards which the youth of my Church have. I avoid gossiping about others and I compliment them instead. But even as I try to live the gospel, I make mistakes and do things that I don't mean to. When I do mess up, I know that God has provided a way out through Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice.
