Hi I'm Paul Pauni

Im a Tongan. I grew up in Euless, Texas. I love the Savior. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A little about me, I'm a Tongan and a descendant of Lehi through the tribe of Manasseh. I basically grew up being a member of the LDS faith, but never really thought too much about it growing up rebeling against what I was taught. As I grew, and made many decisions I tended to do things contrary to the standards taught to me growing up in the church. I soon found myself in dark places, trapped and in desperate need of help. Thanks to our savior, Jesus Christ I was saved, and given another chance at life. I'm so grateful for this gospel, and the atonement of our savior allowing us to be cleansed and given a chance to see our Heavenly Father again, and to be with our families and loved ones for all eternity. My eyes have really been open, and I look at things in a whole different perspective. Knowing that we are all children of our heavenly father brings joy, and allows me to have a genuine love for those around me. I love drawing, and spending time with family. I also enjoy watching movies, and playing games, and working out. Even though I am far from perfect, I know that through continually trying to align my will with the will of God, relying upon the mercy and power of the atonement of Christ. I can one day with my family live with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and become like them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, also known as "Mormons" because I am a living witness of the miracles, and saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and how much this gospel has blessed my life as well as my families. I know the priesthood authority to act in Gods name has been restored again on this earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. That The Book Of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith by the gift and power of God and standing as another testament of Jesus Christ along side the Bible. I have prayerfully read it a number of times and the overwhelming feeling I get from The Holy Ghost is evidence that it is true. I know it.I know the The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the true church. It is the same organization that Christ established during his mortal life. I know we have a living prophets and apostles that were called by God and that Jesus Christ is at the head of the church and also directing the missionary work in spreading the gospel to all the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the first principles and ordinances of the gospel. Increasing my faith through diligent scripture study, and prayer. Repenting of my sins, and renewing my covenants through the sacred ordinance of sacrament. Having charity towards my brothers and sisters all around me and being selfless in giving service and sharing the messages of the restoration. Following the commandments given us by the Lords prophets and living all these principles and trying my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ till the end of my life.
