Hi I'm Rugo

a wide variety of culture, languages and ethnicities.Though so diverse mormons allways have something in common!

About Me

I’m 14 and in middle school. Being the only member out of a 1500+ students has its challenges, but being a Mormon means being in the world but not of the world, having higher standards then my fellow piers makes it possible to stand out, for all the right reasons. The gospel really brings out the best in me and makes live meaningful. I have been blessed with a talent in art, and do well academically, I’m in charge of our school paper and love to write, i love the world and nature, people, cultures and languages. I’m very outgoing and have a lot to say all the time! and I actually kind of like school and learning new things!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have been blessed with a testimony and know for a surety that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is the true church of our heavenly Father. This gospel and the knowledge that we have has brought happiness and peace to me and my family. We all strive, but no one is perfect there might be something about a member that bother you, but there is nothing about this gospel that is negative - don’t judge the gospel only by its members. This is the Lords church and i hope and pray that you will feel his spirit, that the Holy Ghost will prompt you and that you will be blessed to know for yourself that THIS is the true church of Jesus Christ

How I live my faith

By being a good example and remaining faithful to what i say and the standards i live i have gained respect and friendship that i wouldn’t exchange for anything in the world! Because all of my friends at school are non-members I look for friends with high values and who are uplifting and fun to be around. At church i have great friends who are strong in the Gospel and we help each other stay strong! I’m the President of the Teachers Quorum (the group of boys who are aged 14 - 16) and we are actively engaged in the planning and execution of our mutual activities (Once a week all of the youth gather together to meet, socialise and grow physically and spiritually.) I have a brotherly love for all of our members. I love home teaching! Once a month my father and i go and meet with assigned families to share a gospel lesson and the first presidency’s message and hear how we can be of service. This is called home teaching - Every family has assigned home teachers.
