Hi I'm Kate

I draw. I write. I act. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I'm Kate (as you probably can see by the title). If you met me in real life, I could possibly be the most awkward teenager you have ever met. I have been known to try almost everything that interests me, (like horseback riding, snowboarding, piano, basketball, gymnastics etc.) and then stay on with it long enough to get the general idea and move onto another subject. Fun as it may be, it leaves me in an almost eternal loop of the beginner stage. I find I really despise forced exercise like gym class. I prefer doing things of my own volition. Because of that, I end up on really bad terms with almost all of my extremely muscled gym teachers who intimidate me. I am not a rebel, I simply like to find things out for myself and form my own opinion. I am still stumbling throughout my teenage years with utter confusion and frustration, but I know that I will always to have my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to fall back on when things are at their worst.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? Well, there are so many things that explain why I am a Mormon and I couldn't pinpoint them all into one. But what stands out the most is that I know I will always believe in my Father in Heaven and that he knows me, what I am going through and he is always there to help. In my darkest moments I have always found hope and love through the power of personal prayer. I have come to rely on the blessings of my Father and they truly have saved me during those moments of weakness. I know that Jesus Christ suffered greatly for my sins. He knew me as well as my Father and I hope I can see them all again. I know that I can see my earthly family again with the power of sealing each other in the temple. I love my family so much and even though I may fight with my siblings, I always reflect at the end of the day at what blessings they are in my life and I am grateful that I was blessed to be born into my family. I am probably rambling and I hope I got my point across. I love this church so much and I know how lost I would be without it. Thank you for reading.

How I live my faith

I served as a Mia Maid (14-15 year old girls) secretary for a year and a half before I moved. Every summer my parents do a weekly service project. I love Young Womens and attend it as much as I can.
