Hi I'm Ian

I'm an accountant. I like Mountain Dew. I play table tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have an undergraduate degree in accounting. I'm currently studying to enter a Master's program in Taxation. I am an avid gamer, love Science and Science Fiction, and am a sucker for sushi. I enjoy basketball, chess, frisbee, and table tennis. I'm a father of two energetic and sweet girls and husband to a beautiful loving wife.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been times in my life when my actions have brought feelings of guilt and shame. At those moments, it was difficult to conceive of ever finding reprieve from it. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, I have been able to find freedom of lingering pain and doubts. The change in heart to turn away from destructive behaviors has been difficult, but will always prove to more than a worthwhile endeavor.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve others. I have aided in helping the unemployed finding meaningful work, taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the teen aged youth, and help direct the efforts of aiding those in need whatever the need may be.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is more than a verbal professing or occasional church attendance. It is a lifestyle, governed by the example and teachings of Jesus Christ. Oftentimes aspects of this lifestyle are contrary to what contemporary societies would consider acceptable, but adherence to such guarantees peace of mind and hope despite troubling occurrences around us.
