Hi I'm Tiffany

I served a mission when I was 21. I am happily married. I stay home with my three young children.

About Me

Cooking and baking, photography, sewing, and crafting are some of my interests. I love to find an idea or recipe from a blog or on Pinterest and try it out. I also enjoy hiking and camping. Places like Arches National Park and Canyonlands are some of my favorite places to visit. Being with my immediate or extended family is by far my favorite past-time and greatest priority. My other interests bring me happiness when I am doing them with or for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of this church for generations. Some of my ancestors were among the first to be baptized when the church was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith in 1830. I have a strong love for my family and what they have stood for and known to be true. Since I can remember I have felt that the church was true. As I have obeyed the Lord's commandments given through the scriptures and through true prophets my testimony of the principles of the gospel has matured and strengthened and I have experienced happiness, peace, and many blessings from the Lord.

How I live my faith

I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with my three small children while my husband works and provides for our family. This is not a common choice for families where we live. Couples usually have one or two children, if they have any children at all, and both parents work outside the home. Some argue that it is impossible to live on one income. My husband and I have found that as we take care of our finances, make sacrifices, and most importantly ask for the Lord's help we are able to make this a reality. Others may feel that if both parents do not pursue a career outside the home that they are unequal. But my husband and I work as a team with different roles to achieve the same goal of having an eternal family and becoming more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. By nurturing and teaching my children the gospel and providing a home environment where we serve each other and learn to be more like Jesus Christ I am living my faith. I also enjoy serving others outside the home. I enjoy being a helpful and friendly neighbor and also serving members of my ward or congregation when I am assigned or inspired to do so. Being willing and happy to serve is an important way I can live my faith as well.
