Hi I'm Jackie

I was born in Mexico and grew up in Southern California. I love life and love to laugh and yes! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jacqueline... Jackie for short(: Like any Californian I love going to the beach and being in the sun. I'm going to college in the fall in hopes of becoming a lawyer someday! I'm a huge fan of Batman and wish I had his batmobile. I am a true nerd and love to read books! I can make some killer spaghetti (mostly cause its the super easiest thing to cook). I am a huge In-N-Out fan and am addicted to their french fries. I love to sing and absolutely love meeting new people. I was on the swim team and water polo team in High School and am the oldest of 4 kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I know, without a doubt in my mind, that this church is true. Nothing in my life has given me so much happiness than being a mormon and belonging to this church. I know that I have a meaningful life and a divine potential to fulfill while I am here. I walk by faith and believe with all my heart in the counsel and guidance of the prophet and my leaders. Being a mormon provides me with the opportunity to help and give service to others which in turn strenghtens my testimony and gives me understanding for the love our father in heaven has for us. I know who I am and where I am going. I strive to live a worthy life so that I may someday make everlasting covenants with my father in heaven. This gospel has helped me get past the rough storms of life and has helped me become closer to Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. It has also helped me make the most incredible life long friendships I could have ever asked for. I am a mormon because it makes me the happiest I can be!

How I live my faith

I live the gospel everyday by what I do and how I do things. I work hard to be a righteous person and daughter of God by following his commandments. I strive to be everything the Lord knows I can be. I am currently serving as Laurel class president in my ward, which basically means I help plan activities for the older young women ( between 16 and 18) and help with anything they may need while creating lasting friendships with all the girls in my class.
