Hi I'm Thomas

I do Parkour and Freerunning and am currently serving a mission in Mexico. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors! If I have free time i'm filling my time with Climbing, Hiking, swimming, Caving, or just looking for an adventure to be had. I'm a Tracer (or practitioner) of the art of Parkour or Freerunning. where I move throughout environment in different ways finding new pathways that maybe not everyone would see. It helps me clear my mind so I can overcome any obstacle I face. If i'm not outside finding an adventure i'm probably in playing Music. In high school I was often known as the man who played anything. I play everything from piano to tuba to drums to an oboe, ect... ect... and pretty much anything in between. I love discovering new music, and I love creating my own! At the age of 18 I started my own business where I was a personal mentor for people. I found I had a natural talent of understanding peoples body language, and I use this skill and talent to help other go vertical in their lives. I am currently serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mexico. I am learning tons of Spanish Here, and have full faith that the lord will help me learn. My name is Thomas and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, I know that the joy I receive when I think about the gospel and am around those that have the gospel is unlike any other joy I have ever felt. A Joy that I know without a doubt that my father in heaven loves me and knows me personally. I am a Mormon because, I prayed to know the truth about the truth. because I had read a verse in Mormon chapter: 9 verse:21 that said "...ask the father in his name (Jesus Christ) it shall be granted him..." and so I did I prayed to my father in Heaven and asked if the things which I was learning was true. and My mind was at peace my body was filled with joy and the spirit was able to testify to me that all these things were indeed true. The joy that I felt then and every time I pray with Sincerity is what drives me to live a righteous life steadfast in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In my Ward before my mission I was called as a ward missionary. As a ward missionary we teach the members of our ward as well as help the full time missionaries teach investigators in our ward boundaries. Just as full time missionaries we call to set up appointments with our ward members when we can meet with their families to teach the message we have to share. as well as on Sundays me and a few other ward missionaries take turns Teaching the Gospel Essentials class. where new converts or investigators come to learn the basic foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ that we live by. Outside of church I would attend institute. Which is for young single adults to further their education in the gospel with classes about the scriptures, or teachings of the living prophets, to even marriage and dating classes. I love attending institute, because its a time of week where I don't have to worry abonut anythig else going on that week and my focus can be on the scriptures and learning about the gospel.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is the father of our spirits. He loves everyone of his children here on earth no matter what choices we make. God knows each of us personaly and desires to hear from us and have as great a relationship with each of us just as a father would want to have with his son here on earth. God knows everything that was, everything that is, and everything that will be. he has the power to cause anything to happen. He is a just god and a merciful god. He created all of us in his image, thus he has a body of flesh and bones like ours, except his is perfect, all glorified, and eternal. Of all these things the most important and great is that we are children of god and he loves us without end. Show more Show less
