Hi I'm Brittany

I love the beauty in nature. I love the art of yoga. I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in college with hopes to become a nurse. I love trying new things and learning about different cultures and people. I find strength learning about the legacy of others and the strength that comes from the sacrifices of those who have gone before me. I love almost all food and love getting to know people. I love reading and enjoying music; I play piano and violin and love country music. I'm a huge fan of checklists and thrive on productivity. Yoga, zumba, and running are my favorite ways to stay active. I love serving as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but I believe that I was truly converted to the gospel when I was 13 years old. As a youth, I dislocated my knee and went through an extensive recovery process. I was scared and frustrated and turned to prayer as a source of comfort. I never had felt God's love for me that strongly before and I knew that this really is the Savior's church restored to the earth. I was comforted by the promises found in the scriptures to those who will trust in God and follow the example of Jesus Christ. As I've grown older, my foundation in Jesus Christ has helped me find happiness in times that proven much more difficult that a knee injury. I more clearly understand my purpose and the love God has for me as I've decided to be obedient to God's commandments.

How I live my faith

I love to read my scriptures and have found a sincere love for those who were so valiant in their faith of Jesus Christ. I love to share my beliefs with others and enjoy volunteering to teach lessons at church. I like to live my faith by small and simple means like holding the door open, offering a smile, sending an encouraging text, or even being a patient, courteous driver because I know that is truly what Jesus would do.
