Hi I'm Parker Hudson

I'm a pre-med student, I love sports, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in several different states while growing up. I lived in Texas, Maryland, Kentucky, and Nebraska to name a few. My dad is a news anchor, but I have always wanted to be a doctor. I attend Brigham Young University as an exercise science major and I am applying to medical school this summer. I try to stay close to the Savior by thinking about him throughout the day, reading my scriptures and praying. I love the gospel and I am working to live it better each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I have a knowledge of the Savior and his gospel through the revelation that was and is recieved through modern prophets today. I have recieved a witness that there is a prophet today, and that God reveals his will to him. I can receive personal revelation through prayer and faith. There is no other way I would ever want to live my life. Ever. I know it's true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to show others who Christ is through my example. There is so much discouragement and sorrow in the world, people who need light and hope that can only come through the gospel of Jesus Christ. For me, I can feel peace and happiness when I look to the future. When I imagine myself living with God again. When I read the scriptures, escpecially the Book of Mormon, I feel a spiritual connection with heaven that is undeniable. I know that my Father lives and loves me, so I try to do all that He asks me to do. This often comes from the still small voice of the Spirit, but only as I listen carefully and seek to understand God's will in my life. He has given me peace when I do what is right and when I serve others. This motivates me to keep progressing every day.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Parker Hudson
One of my favorite scriptures about serving everyone no matter what their circumstances is found in the Book of Mormon. 2 Nephi 26:27 reads, "Hath he commanded any that they should not partake of his salvation? Behold I say unto you, Nay; but he hath given it free for all men; and he hath commanded his people that they should persuade all men to repentance." Show more Show less
